Allied Kitchen & Bath Hosts 14th Annual Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner VIP Kick-Off Party Benefiting LifeNet4Families

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (January 28, 2016) – More than 125 community members and local notables were in attendance at the 14th Annual Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner VIP Kick-Off Party on Tuesday, January 26th. Taking place at Allied Kitchen & Bath’s Oakland Park showroom, honorary chefs, including Allied Kitchen & Bath President Bill Feinberg, donned their chef coats in support of LifeNet4Families and their mission to ensure that individuals and families residing in Broward County and facing hardships are able to obtain food and other basic necessities.

In anticipation of the annual event taking place Sunday, February 28th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Signature Grand, attendees at Allied Kitchen & Bath were able hear first-hand the history behind the event from founder Andy Cagnetta and the impact supporters have on LifeNet4Families. Melanie Geddes, President and CEO of LifeNet4Families shared a personal story about a LifeNet4Families client and how the non-profit organization not only provides necessary food and ancillary services to its clients but also makes sure they are treated with respect and dignity. LifeNet4Families presented a plaque to Bill Feinberg, host of the evening and Allied Kitchen & Bath President for his dedication to the community and support of the organization. Guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails as they perused the showroom and participated in a silent auction with items donated from local businesses.

The 14th Annual Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner will feature an authentic Italian buffet prepared by Andy’s “family,” followed by an award ceremony where every child that participated in the event will be presented with a Community Service Award. This year’s Honorary Chefs include Colin Brown from JM Family Enterprises Inc., Alana Burrell from Independence Title; Fern Cedola from Wolfer & Company; Bill Feinberg from Allied Kitchen & Bath; Jacqueline Howe from Shutts & Bowen; Bill Luce from Transworld Business Advisors; Chuck Mohr from Hoffman’s Chocolate and Ken Wiesenfeld from X-it Strategy Consulting.

For the past 13 years, Andy’s Family Pasta Dinner extravaganza has been a huge success, growing each year in attendance to more than 800 people and raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for LifeNet4Families to provide more than 600,000 meals.
